Privacy policy

This policy explains what information respectthethrottle.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Respect The Throttle, 219 West 145th Street, New York, NY 10039.

What we collect

What you send us. When you use the contact form or the studio booking form, we receive your name, your message, and the email address and phone number you choose to give us. We also note the country your request came from. We use this only to reply to you and to arrange your session.

Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. To stop spam, we keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address for up to 24 hours, then delete it.

Spam check. Our contact and booking forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending them. It looks at technical signals from your browser and device, and doesn’t use cookies to track you or show you ads. Cloudflare’s privacy policy covers it.

What we don’t do

• No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics that follow you around the web.
• We never sell or rent your information.
• We don’t share it, except with the service providers that run the site for us (such as Cloudflare) or when the law requires it.

Cookies and storage

Visitors get no cookies from us. The only cookie the site sets is a login cookie for the site owner’s admin panel. If you turn the film-grain effect off, your browser remembers that choice on your own device; it is never sent to us.

How long we keep it

Messages you send stay in our inbox until we delete them. Ask us and we’ll delete yours.

Payments

Online checkout isn’t live yet. When it is, payments will be handled by a payment provider, and we’ll update this policy to say which one and what it receives. We never see or store your full card number.

Links to other sites

We link to Instagram, YouTube, streaming services and our artists’ pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
